MONOPOLY

Whilst in London I'm going to attempt to visit all of the 22 streets on the monopoly board, all 4 of the tube stations and a jail (monopoly doesn't specify which jail so i will just visit a random one for the photo)
 Mayfair
Park Lane
Bond Street
Oxford Street

This is the street to shop on in London (if you have any money that is) this is where they have Selfridges and a couple of other department stores. Also here is the home of Primark and several H & M's and i'm pretty sure a Topshop. If you walk along Oxford street you end up in Piccadily circus
 Regent Street

A nice looking street, the buildings here in London are great, they are mostly the same height (about 5 stories) and all very similar yet different its hard to explain.

Piccadilly

Piccadilly was all bright lights, theaters and shops, lots of shops. i liked it! we didn't spend much time there when this picture was taken but i definitely want to go back at a time when everything will be open (we were there at about 5.30pm on a Sunday)

Coventry Street
Leicester Square

This square was very bright, full of cinemas and theaters and half price ticket booths (lots of these). We went to the movies in this square, went and saw Scott Pilgrim Vs the World. We also went to a pub for a drink just off this square and watched some very drunk English boys singing songs in German.

Trafalgar Square

This was a very busy square, full of tourists and locals. it had Nelsons column in the centre, a giant ship in a giant bottle, the National Portrait Gallery, a couple of fountains and four giant lions that had tourists (including Ewen) crawling all over them

Fleet Street
Strand

Just passed  through here on our search for a H & M. it didn't look too interesting though, it looked pretty office-ey
18.11.10 update for this one, i went to see Legally Blonde the musical on this street and at night time this is a pretty cool street, lots of people around and quite a few theaters dotted along it.

Vine Street

Marlborough Street

Bow Street
Northhumberland Avenue

This street was just near Trafalgar square. it looks nice and green with all the trees lining it. we didn't walk very far down it as we were on our way to Buckingham Palace

Whitehall

We spent quite a bit of time here as it was just near the Horse Guards and we were lucky enough to be passing by just as they were starting a changing of the guard.

Pall Mall

I had expected Pall Mall to be teeming with shops but it was boring. no interesting shops just a couple of hotels and lots of construction work going on. we walked the length of Pall Mall on our way back towards Leicester Square.

Pentonville Road
We walked along this road a couple of nights after we had been out to dinner at a pub in this area. This road is OK, i think if you go one way you end up at Angel in Islington and if you go the other way you end up at Kings Cross. We didn't really get to see much of what was on the road as it was always dark when we were there.
Euston Road

We were on the corner of this road after walking from Camden Market to Euston station. it seemed nice and leafy :-)
The Angel, Islington
This is the area that Simon and Nell's place (these are the people we are staying with at the moment, Nell works for Ewen's uncle) is in so we have gotten to know it well over the last few days. There is street called Church Market which has a market all the way up it every day selling everything from soap to socks to jackets to fresh fish to bananas. It was very hard to find a sign with both of the names on it.
Whitechapel Road
Old Kent Road
Marylebone Station

Kings Cross Station
Liverpool Street Station
We got to the tube to this station when we went to Spitalfields markets. The station was pretty big and had a lot of shops in it.
Fenchurch Street Station
