Fethıye

we started the day by walking to the lycian tombs, we were a bit dissapointed to find that the public can only access one of the tombs, however the one we could access was pretty awesome. This is the tomb of amyntas which was carved into the rockface in 350BC
very impressive!
we were lucky another couple were already up there and took our photo for us
there was lots of grafitti but this seemed to be the oldest...1817!
the tomb on the far right is the one we went to
the view from the tombs

we walked back into town and had a walk around, we sat out the front of a clothing store advertising 50% off so i had a look and ended up buying a really nice dress.
we saw this crossing on the road in town.

we walked all the way up this castle only to find you could not go inside it so this is the best photo we got. it was a crusader fortress built by some knights with some spare time on their hands back in 400BC
we saw this shop when we were walking back through the town. notice the GENUINE FAKE sign on the watch store in the background
Ewen performing at a theatre built in Roman times
after our sight seeing we spent an hour or so at the hostel before getting a bus to Selcuk. the bus trip was only 5 and a half hours so that was a nice change from the 12 hour bus trips we are used to.
