Lauterbrunnen - Part 1

We had 5 nights & 4 full days in Lauterbrunnen which was just enough time to do everything we wanted without been rushed. I'm writing this section of the blog in three parts because i have about 50 photos of our amazing Lauterbrunnen adventure to share with everyone and that is way too many photos for one post.
We spent our first full day looking around the campsite, it has a beautiful river running through it and a pond with fish swimming around. the weather wasn't too fabulous so we decided to get our rain coats and have a look in the shops in town, on the way we noticed a  path leading to a look out for a waterfall that drops down behind our campsite. The walk was a bit longer than we thought but it was worth it (not a difficult walk but we thought it ended at the rocks when actually you walked through a tunnel between the rocks and the walk kept going for a little bit) to stand in an alcove with stunning views out over the town of Lauterbrunnen and with the waterfall falling in front of our faces.
We had a look around the town and in a few of the shops and then headed to the supermarket in an attempt to save some money. we got stuff for lunches and breakfasts for the next few days (we were in a caravan so had our own fridge which was handy). We didn't do much else that day, just out laundry which took about 3 and a half hours because someone took our washing out of the dryer before it was done! We had dinner at the restaurant at the campsite, we had planned to eat in town but by 6.30 our washing still wasn't done and we didn't want to wait any longer.
