Bordeaux

This was a bride and groom getting photos taken on the misty water

Our wines. Ewen was trying to be all fancy so he got himself red wine (and hated it) i got delicious peach flavoured wine. it is probably considered to be the passion pop of France but it was cheap and delicious!

This is how we had to have our laptop set up in order to get any wifi reception. yep we stole internet from some one silly enough to not have a password. it was pay back for all the time we had our internet stolen in Eaglehawk when we were too lazy to get a password

I'm doing things a little differently this time and putting the photos first, exciting huh! So we spent about a day and a half in Bordeaux (pronounced bored-oh). We didn't do too much sight seeing. We attempted to go on a wine tour but when we went to the information center they told us all the tours were already booked out for the days we were there so instead we went and got our own wine, took our books and some chicken down to the river and sat on the grass drinking wine, eating disgusting chicken and reading. The biggest hornet (we think it was a hornet anyway) tormented us for ages when we had the chicken out, we ended up having to let the hornet win and we moved to a different spot leaving the hornet a piece of chicken to nibble on. We had kebabs two days in a row because it was about all the food we could afford, Bordeaux restaurants seemed to be pretty upmarket to us. We also walked around the shops, we didn't buy anything thought, apart from a magnet for my collection. we are going to need a bigger fridge when we get home just to fit all of our magnets on it.
