Harrods & Kensington

We spent about 3 hours in Harrods, it's very easy to entertain yourself here even without buying anything. We wandered through the handbags section watching all the rich people shopping and then hit up the Christmas department which was incredible! We got ourselves a very touristy Harrods Christmas tree decoration and then set off to find the food hall which i had read was amazing and it certainly delivered. Food hall is probably the wrong name for it it was more like 5 large halls of food. we initially thought their were only two rooms so had scones and juice and coffee in the second room and then afterwords found three more rooms one with delicious food that we could have actually afforded! We spent ages looking in the tea section, i wanted to buy the fruit teas; they had strawberry and apple and orange flavours. We also spent a long time in the toy department of Harrods which took up nearly an entire floor of the building.
The next day we went to Kensington with Andrew. We walked around the streets, went out for lunch and went to two museums; the National History Museum and the V & A museum. We also walked to Kensington Palace but it was being renovated so we had a quick walk around the front of it taking some photos and then went to the Royal Albert Hall for a walk around the outside, we tried to go on a tour of the theater but they weren't running any tours that day.
We spent that night putting all of our stuff back into our backpacks and getting ready for our 2 week road trip starting the next day.
